Thanks to all that attended yesterday meeting in person or by proxy. Thanks also for your support. The current board is humbled by your vote of confidence and we will work hard to continue deserving such confidence.

Annual Meeting to Elect Directors

The Annual Meeting and election of Directors of the Doral Landings Townhomes Association, Inc. will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 7: 30 PM at the Hampton Inn Hotel Meeting Room, 11600 NW 41^st Street, Doral, Florida.

To those that were able to attend last night MANY THANKS. To those that couldn’t, THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT. Please, keep tuned.

As we expressed it last night, the most important thing we need from you is to pay careful attention to any material you receive related to the Association. You might receive voting ballots from the Association or from the legal representative for the belligerent homeowner  and in either case it is important that you really understand what your vote means. The board will keep information available in this website , its Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Doral-Landings-West/114624725292901) , our e-mail list, regular mail, bulletin board and at the gatehouse.

We are not attempting to direct your vote, but if your vote is solicited, we know that with all the facts in front of you, you will make a fair decision. And if we ask you to vote, we will really need you to make the effort to cast your vote. We will make it easy for you to do so, but it will be important to get a high turnaround really quick.

A aquellos que asistieron anoche, MUCHAS GRACIAS. A aquellos que no pudieron asistir, GRACIAS POR SU APOYO. Por favor, manténganse en contacto.

Como lo comentamos anoche, lo más importante que necesitamos de ustedes es que pongan mucha atención a cualquier material que reciban relacionados a la Asociación. Usted puede recibir boletas de votación de la Asociación o del representante legal de los propietarios en conflicto. En cualquiera de estos casos, es importante que usted entienda que significa su voto. La Junta mantendrá información disponible en esta página, Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Doral-Landings-West/114624725292901), la lista de e-mail, mail regular, la cartelera sobre el buzón y en la garita de entrada.

No estamos intentando dirigir su voto, pero si su voto es solicitado, sabemos que sabiendo todos los hechos pertinentes usted tomará una decisión razonable y justa. Si pedimos su voto, realmente necesitaremos que usted haga el esfuerzo necesario para ejercer su voto. Haremos que dicho esfuerzo sea el mínimo necesario, pero es importante que obtengamos una alta participación en el voto en tiempo relativamente breve.

Important Board meeting Wednesday @ 7:30 p.m. at the pool - Please attend, it's important

A small group of homeowners who have retained legal counsel for the sole purpose of recalling the board in order to fire Irina Jarrin (one of our security guards) will be discussed.  

This group's philosophy is to divide the community into who the guard knows and does not know and give special privileges to those that are known by the guard.  This is a practice the board does not agree with.

The situation is very serious as legal council has been involved and that is why we urge you to attend the meeting so that we can explain in more detail.

With your support the board is confident that we will prevail. 

Importante Reunión de la Junta de Directores el Miércoles @ 7:30 PM en la piscina. - Por favor asista, es importante.

Se discutirá el caso de un pequeño grupo de propietarios que ha contratado un abogado con el sólo propósito de remover a la junta actual y poder despedir a Irina Jarrin (Un guardia de seguridad).

La filosofía de este grupo es dividir la comunidad entre aquellos que son conocidos por el guardia y aquellos que no y dar privilegios especiales a aquellos que sean conocidos por el guardia. La Junta de Directores no está de acuerdo con esto.

La situación es muy seria ya que hay abogados de por medio y por eso le urgimos a que asista a la reunión de manera de poder explicarle en más detalle.

Con su apoyo la Junta esta segura de prevalecer.
